Stem to 6 cm tall or more, ±1 – 1,5 cm in diameter, usually unbranched

Leaves lanceolate to rhomboid-oblanceolate, acuminate, mucronate, 4 -10 x 1 – 2,5 cm, upper face, concave to flat, green to purplish.
叶：披针形到菱形-倒披针形，渐尖，有短尖，4-10cm长，1-2.5cm宽，上表面下凹或平坦，绿色到淡紫色。
Inflorescences single, to 3-branched cincinni, with 6 – 20 flowers, pedicels 1 – 4 (- 8) mm.
花序：独生，最多有3根蝎尾状分枝，6-20朵花，花梗1-4（-8）mm。
Flowers : Sepals to 15 mm, subterete to terete, spreading to reflexed, corolla 12 – 17 x 9 – 11 mm in diameter at the base, 4 mm in diameter at the mouth, reddish or yellowish below, reddish above.
花：萼片可达15mm，半圆柱型到圆柱形，张开或反折；花冠12-17mm高，基部9-11mm直径，顶部4mm直径；基部淡红色或淡黄色，顶部发红。

Although Walther (1972) recognized 3 other species distinct from
E. bifida, all have the same chromosome number and differ in such minor details as stem length, the concavity of the upper leaf face, number of inflorescences branches and length of the pedicels. They all seem better reduced under
E. bifida.

Echeveria erubescens、
